DESCRIPTION:
This
magnificent necklace and earring set represents the finest of Native American craftsmanship! The set is Zuni hand
made by artist Lorna Maggy, out of genuine sterling silver and real Turquoise stones. The necklace is composed of one Naja
(the cresent-shaped large center pendant) and double strands of silver 8-mm eccentric beads placed at regular intervals
among the round side of the center. In between the silver beads, each side link is attached to three silver petals which are
called squash blossoms. Each link is carefully hand made one by one to create this gorgeous necklace. In this set there are
a total of TWO HUNDRED SEVENTEEN stones (in the necklace there are ONE HUNDRED NINTY NINE and in the earrings there are EIGHTEEN).
Each stone is delicately set in a hand cut serrated bezel setting, while twisted silver and mini silver beads can be seen
accenting throughout the set. Entire traditional necklace is flexible "not stiff". The earrings each have a total
of NINE stones, that are carefully placed in hand cut serrated bezel, and match the necklace for a perfect finish. Don't
miss out on this beautiful necklace and earring set! The necklace is signed Zuni and hallmarked.
